Kingbird with medium gray head and throat with wide white stripe under eye, thick, long black bill, yellow breast and belly, back of tail brown no white outer tail feathers

Similar species (include how they were eliminated by your observation): the bill was too long to be a Couch's Kingbird; back of tail was brown not black as in Western Kingbird; the bill was too long and the head was not dark enough to be a Cassin's Kingbird
