A Lesser Nighthawk has been observed recently at Peveto Sanctuary by other birders.

Sunny, clear day

Habitat: 

Peveto Sanctuary - Oak woodlot on cheniere close to Gulf.

 

Behavior of bird: 

Bird sitting motionless on a limb appearing to be sleeping.
