bird was in full sun on a bare branch calling.

Swarowski 10x.   Not needed bird was close enough to ID without bins.

40 ft.

10 minutes off and on

Habitat: 

swampy area.  Lots of undergrowth with some taller shrubs and trees 

Behavior of bird: 

Bird was calling and actively feeding.

 

 

Description: 

[photo attached].  This was a stake out bird that had been found and ID weeks earlier. 

 

 

Voice:

Call notes but not the full "song."
