11. Distance to bird(s):variable, but at times within 40 feet

12. Duration of observation: Off and on for more than an hour, but not always in view or calling

13. Habitat: mowed yard with large live oaks; across canal there was thicker habitat, brush, various trees, etc.

14. Behavior of bird / circumstances of observation (flying, feeding, resting; include and stress habits used in identification; relate events surrounding observation): Flying around the whole area, calling, perching in trees and on large pump; one bird observed entering nest found by T. Guidry. Later we saw it sitting in nest, apparently incubating.

15. Description (include only what was actually seen, not what "should" have been seen; include if possible: total length/relative size compared to other familiar species, body bulk, shape, proportions, bill, eye, leg, and plumage characteristics. Stress features that separate it from similar species):Large, chunky flycatcher. Brown above, brighter rusty on wings and tail. Yellow below except for throat. Bold black and white head pattern (see photos). Rather bull-headed and large bill.

16. Voice:called repeatedly: Eeeek; Ka-dee; and Ick-a-dee (Kiskadee) calls
